Government Law - Paralegal

GJN is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, confident, energetic paralegal to support their growing Government Law & Relations Department.  Individuals will have an understanding of city, county, state and federal political structure, including elected officials and agencies.  Candidates will be able to interact with a wide range of people, have an outgoing personality, and present a professional image.   Must have ability to attend occasional local evening council and zoning meetings, as well as occasionally travel overnight to Jefferson City.  This is a very challenging, yet rewarding and fun position in a great firm, interacting with people of influence.  Ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, and be able to read and summarize documents and ordinances.  Must have excellent organizational, research and writing skills.  Regulatory and/or government experience preferred.  Must have a minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience.  Paralegal degree preferred.  Excellent salary (commensurate with experience) and benefits.  Please send cover letter and resume explaining why you would be the ideal candidate for this position to: Carla M.
